7 Spooky Halloween Candles to Decorate your Home this Autumn

Updated: Sep 29, 2021

Autumn is finally here. For many people, this means cosy evenings bundled in blankets, hot chocolates by the fire and movie marathons under a canopy of fairy lights. Alongside the cosy vibes, this season also gifts us something else: Halloween! We've rounded up our favourite spooky Halloween candles to help you deck out your home this Autumn...

Le Bon Candles has introduced some seriously cute (and spooky) Halloween candles (from £4.50), just in time for autumn. The candle company has created some adorable pumpkin candles, along with pumpkin- and ghost-shaped wax melts!

The seasonal goodies are handmade using pure soy wax and biodegradable glitter. You can also customise your candles and wax melts by choosing from three different autumnal scents: Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Vanilla, or Autumnal Fruits. If you prefer jar candles to decorative ones, these fall scents are also available in glass jar form.

We love these pumpkin tealights from Le Chic Candles (from £6.50). Each candle is handmade using pure soy wax and scented with a quintessential autumn fragrance: Pumpkin Spice.

The candles are available in orange or white, and come in two different sizes. They'd look super cute in any autumn or Halloween display!

These jet black pillar candles from Bee Zero Waste (from £10.95) are bringing all those spooky vibes. We absolutely love the effectiveness of the seamless, minimal design. Plus, the candles are made using pure beeswax and natural, plant-based dyes!

There are three different sizes available. Why not style them with some spooky spiders and cobwebs? They're sure to make a statement.

We said things would get spooky. The handpoured Halloween candle set from The Candlery (£17.99) features a spooky skull, alongside two rather gruesome torsos. This one is definitely closer to 'scary' than 'cute'!

When burnt, the grey soy wax melts to reveal the red wax inside. This clever effect makes it look like the skull and torsos are bleeding! Like we said - this one is pretty gorey. But we reckon it would be an amazing addition to any super-scary Halloween display!

We are obsessed with these adorable ghost tealight holders from Jo Bachs Attic. Designed to be used with battery-operated tealights (not for use with real tealights!), each ghost is handmade using air-dry clay. This gives a realistic folding effect.

While these are not candles, nor are they designed to hold real candles, we couldn't resist including them in our Halloween candles round up. They're just too cute!

Don't fancy carving a pumpkin this year? Check out this cute wax burner from Wicked Wax Candle Store (£11.99). You can use it simply as a tealight holder, to light up the facial features, or remove the lid to also use it as a wax burner!

This company also creates a wide range of wax melts: why not pair this wax burner with the Starbucks Roasted Coffee wax melts for some cosy autumn vibes?

The Hocus Pocus candle from Brit Botanics (£20) is made using sustainable beeswax. We love the swirly effect on the container.

This company stocks a range of different Halloween scents, including a Pumpkin Spice candle, and a 'Sexy Witch' scent - whatever that smells like! Plus, you can reuse your candle container again and again, thanks to the candle refills.
